The ICC Commission on Banking Technique and Practice which drew up these rules over fifty years ago, devotes a considerable part of its efforts to considering queries raised by commercial parties, carriers and forwarders, insurers and bankers, regarding the interpretation of the various provisions of the UCP and givin its opinions for the guidance of interested parties.</dc:description>
