<abstract displayLabel="Summary">AIG, Allianz, Aviva, Prudential y Atradius entraron el año pasado en pérdidas por las turbulencias de los mercados. Axa y Generali redujeron el beneficio, mientras MAPFRE, al margen de esta tendencia, aumentó su ganancia un 23%. La cartera de inversión de las aseguradoras va a marcar el futuro del sector español e internacional, como ocurrió. El negocio puramente asegurador se ve salpicado por la recesión económica, pero resiste la crisis con cierta estabilidad. Los resultados de los grandes grupos se han visto lastrados por las pérdidas y el deterioro de las inversiones</abstract>
