<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La Internacionalización de las empresas españolas constituye un proceso histórico reciente. Es a partir de la década de 1960 cuando algunas empresas comenzaron a tener una significativa presencia en el exterior. Sin embargo, las raices de este proceso pueden detectarse ya desde fines del siglo XIX pero, muy especialemente, a lo largo del primer tercio del siglo XX. Este texto muestra cómo las Cámaras de Comercio españolas contribuyeron de forma significativa a la apertura exterior de las empresas y los empresarios españoles antes del Franquismo.</abstract>
