<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: The activities involved in shale gas extraction may directly affect a transportation insurers book of business. This paper focuses on potential exposures related to transportation of the wastewater generated during the hydraulic fracturing process. It is clear that general liability policies covering operations of firms engaged in natural gas extraction via the hydraulic fracturing process carry a high degree of risk. But it is important to also consider potential exposures of operations that service well operators, such as transportation firms. This paper offers examples of how to identify such exposures, along with suggestions on how to mitigate them</dc:description>
