<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Cuando en 1994 se creó la ley 14-1994 que regulaban las ETT, tras varios años sin el debido marco legal, las compañías vieron en su utilización una forma de reducir costes para la mano de obra no cualificada que requerían. Esto vinculó a las ETT al concepto de precariedad, no tanto por tratarse de puestos temporales (inherentes a muchos sectores del mercado, y que suponía además una buena oportunidad de trabajo para determinados colectivos que buscaban un empleo eventual), como por las diferencias salariales que existían por realizar un mismo trabajo (el trabajador de la ETT solía cobrar menos y, además, más tarde)</abstract>
