<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Según el informe Hábitos de lectura y compra de libros en España 2011 más de la mitad de la población lee en soportes digitales, aunque apenas sea el 6,8% los que leen libros en esos formatos y un 42,4% los que su lectura consiste en blogs, webs, foros, etc. Parece, además, que aumenta levemente el porcentaje de población que lee libros (en cualquier formato), 61 ,4%, y también la media de libros leídos anualmente, llegando a 10,3 libros por habitante. Al mismo tiempo, aumenta poco a poco la frecuencia de lectura. Evidentemente, con estos y otros datos de similar orden, podríamos decir que el camino está algo mejor que los años precedentes. </abstract>
