<abstract displayLabel="Summary">This report deals with the application of the Whole-School Approach to  OSH and education. The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being  (WHO, 1948). Education has an essential role to play in enabling the great majority of people to tend towards that state, by preparing new  generations for their adult lives. For young children (nursery, infant, primary, secondary), education will address general concepts of health, safety and well-being as well as social aspects. Then, for  teenagers and young adults (vocational education, higher education), the focus will be on gradually acquiring social and professional skills promoting the concept of health, safety and well-being at work, and in life in general as an adult and citizen. This requires work not only on the content of the teaching, but also on the places where the teaching is carried out. The environment in which children and young people are educated should be exemplary </abstract>
