<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La salud de los trabajadores y su bienestar son elementos fundamentales para la productividad y la sostenibilidad de las empresas. En este artículo se plantean algunas consideraciones sobre la respuesta que habría que dar a las amenazas actuales del tejido empresarial, como son: el absentismo, la baja productividad y el envejecimiento de la población trabajadora. Una adecuada gestión de la salud de los trabajadores implica repensar el modelo tradicional de seguridad y salud en el trabajo. </abstract>
