Sumario: As vehicle technologies evolve and we move closer to the vision that future cars will drive themselves, it is critical that the transportation community takes an active and well-considered approach in developing and implementing new technologies and automation. This report summarizes presentations and discussion from a forum held in November 2017 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. A group of stakeholders from academia, industry and government gathered and exchanged information and ideas about the impact that 21st century automotive technologies are having on drivers. Contents of this report should be of interest to researchers and practitioners who are involved with vehicle technologies and automation work
