<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La revisión de las tablas biométricas que ha promovido la DGSFP ha sido bien acogida por el sector, tanto por el hecho en sí de actualizarlas, como por contar con las aseguradoras en su futuro diseño. Para las entidades, era necesaria su actualización, no solo por su caducidad en el caso de las de supervivencia, sino también por la necesidad de adaptarlas a la realidad de la población española. Su actualización dotará al Seguro de mayor sostenibilidad y solvencia, y aumentará más, si cabe, la protección del asegurado.</abstract>
