Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, electric mobility surged across Europe, as plug-in vehicles made up 10.5% of the market, compared to only 3% in 2019. Battery-electric vehicles (BEV) accounted for 5.4% of passenger car sales in the EU27, while plug-in hybrids (PHEV) reached 5.1% of the market.</dc:description>
