<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El seguro español forma parte de un mercado único europeo de los servicios financieros. Por otra parte, existen algunos riesgos de los que habitualmente cubre el seguro, notablemente los de carácter industrial y empresarial, que, por definición, se desarrollan en un ambiente internacional, y cuyo aseguramiento, en consecuencia, también debe de serlo. Estas son las razones por las que, aunque la mayor parte de las protecciones gestionadas por aseguradoras españolas residen en la propia España, merece la pena sacar la vista más allá del país para obtener algunas impresiones sobre la actividad exterior del seguro español.</abstract>
