<abstract displayLabel="Summary">We have witnessed a profound change in climate action over the past decade. Local government action and ambition has increased, and national governments have also stepped up. The signing of the Paris Agreement in 2015 was a turning point for city action  the number of cities disclosing to CDP since 2015 has more than doubled, showing that cities are stepping up to the challenge of cutting emissions and building resilience to climate change. </abstract>
