Title: How to age positively : perspectives of older adults with: a low socioeconomic status using participant-driven photo-elicitation interviews / Feline Platzer
Notes: Sumario: This qualitative study explores how older adults with a low socioeconomic status perceive positive ageing, using participant-driven photo-elicitation interviews (photo-voice). Twenty-one Dutch participants aged over 60 collected photographs representing positive ageing and discussed them during in-depth interviews. The findings show that positive ageing is mainly associated with social relationships, meaningful activities, nature, pets, food, and a positive mindset, alongside acceptance of age-related losses. Participants experienced the visual method as engaging and supportive, suggesting its suitability for health research and programme development targeting vulnerable older populationsRelated records: En: European Journal of Ageing : social, behavioural and health perspectives. - Cham, Switzerland [etc.] : Springer International Publishing AG, 2021-. - 21/12/2026 Volumen 22 Número 2 - 2026 , 10 p.Materia / lugar / evento: Envejecimiento de la población Personas mayores Calidad de vida Salud pública Salud mental Desigualdades sociales Longevidad Otros autores: Platzer, Feline Springer Nature Other categories: 931.2
