<dc:description xml:lang="es">This paper provides an overview of CEA's preliminary comments on the new Solvency II provisions of the Framework Directive. CEA believes that the Framework Directive provides the potential for a major step forward in European insurance regulation. In order to ensure the appropriate implementation of Solvency II, CEA believes that level 2 and level 3 implementing measures must be well aligned to the principles set out in the level 1 text.</dc:description>
