<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Las perspectivas abiertas por la voluntad de incorporación de España a la CEE, en el seguro español han producido ya efectos positivos. De una parte, esas perspectivas han estimulado análisis cada vez más serios y objetivos sobre la situación actual de nuestro sector, con sus deficiencias, pero con su fuerte potencial de desarrollo. Y, de otra, han determinado que se comiencen a aplicar medidas de actualización normativa, de racionalización administrativa y de reestructuración empresarial, que desde hace tiempo eran necesarias, pero cuya adopción venía posponiéndose. En ese sentido, se puede afirmar que, en este sector como en otros muchos, la CEE ha rendido ya a España su primer y gran estímulo para nuestra modernización.</abstract>
