<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El 3 de diciembre de 1992 el buque "Aegean Sea" de bandera griega embarrancó en las proximidades del puerto de La Coruña, lo que provocó unas horas despues su rotura y el derrame al mar de parte de 79.085 toneladas de petróleo crudo ligero "Brent Blend" que transportaba. Poco después se produjeron varias explosiones y comenzó un incendio del crudo que estaba derramando en la superficie de las aguas</abstract>
