They also know that, left untreated, a heat illness can lead to conditions that night cause permanent impairment or death. The condition occurs when people who work in a hot environment got so hot their bodies are unable to dissipate the heat buildup through perspiration. When that happens, the results can range from symptoms as minor as rashes, dizziness and confusion to fainting, abnormally high body temperature and even death. Fortunately, it can control the conditions and decrease the risk of heat stress for people who work near furnaces, around hot processes or warm factories.
