<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Le cas étudié ici est celui des cartouches filtrantes contre les gaz et vapeurs organiques. L'auteur présente et discute les travaux de Nelson et coll. (Etats-Unis) qui ont porté sur 121 substances. Les résultats obtenus permettent de se faire une idée assez exacte du comportement d'une cartouche vis-à-vis d'une substance donnée, et donc d'estimer sa durée de vie, lorsqu'on connaît son comportement vis-à-vis du tétrachlorure de carbone, solvant dont la vapeur est utilisée comme référence dans les essais de cartouches antigaz</abstract>
