<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Une évaluation des expositions atmosphériques aux produits chimiques a été effectuée chez quatre fabricants de ferro-alliages. Les mesures ont porté essentiellement sur les hydrocarbures polycycliques aromatiques, le monoxyde de carbone, l'hydrigène sulfuré, les poussières métalliques et la recherche de fibres. L'ensemble des résultats obtenus montre un asez bon respect des valeurs limites. Cependant, des empoussièrements importants et de fortes concentrations de fibres au cours de la fabrication du carbure de silicium ont été relevés, posant le problème de l'établissement de nouvelles valeurs limites qui assurent une protection satisfaisante du personnel concerné</abstract>
