<abstract displayLabel="Summary">L'objet de l'étude est de proposer une approche méthodologique qui pourrait permettre d'évaluer l'importance relative du tabagisme et des agents chimiques d'origine industrielle dans la survenue des cancers des voies respiratoires. L'auteur considère les cancers des voies aéro-digestives supérieures comme une témoin de l'imprégnation tabagique, les cancers du poumon pouvant être aussi induits par des agents inhalés sur le lieu de travail. Une analyse très complète des études épidémiologiques disponibles, objective des résultats qui vont dans le sens de cette argumentation</abstract>
