<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Les terres rares (ou lanthanides) constituent une famille de quinza éléments aux proprietés chimiques analogues. La note rappelle brièvement leur utilisation dans l'industrie, en croissance rapide, et leur toxicité. Une quarantaine de prélèvements d'ambiance ont été analysés à l'INRS, en vue de déterminer les teneurs atmosphériques en cérium, néodyme, lanthane et samarium des ateliers contrôlés. Les concentrations mesurées sont très variables (de 0,001 à 15 mg/m3), mais difficiles à apprécier en raison de l'absence de valeurs limites de référence</abstract>
