<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La note se limite aux effets des facteurs professionnels sur l'aptitude à concevoir, à l'exclusion des risques d'avortement par exposition de la mère pendant la grossesse. Après un rappel de la physiologie et de la pathologie de la reproduction, elle présente les méthodes d'étude : indices utilisés pour évaluer la fertilité (taux de naissance, spermogramme, ...) et la conception des études épidémiologiques. Les différents facteurs de stérilité suspectés sont passés en revue à travers la literature. Le dibromochloroprane, le plomb, le sulfure de carbone semblent incontestablement responsables de stérilité. D'autres facteurs sont vraisemblablement en cause, tels que la chaleur ou les radiations ionisantes, mais mériteraient des études complementaires</abstract>
