<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Après un bref rappel des sources d'exposition professionnelle à l'aldéhyde formique, cette note présente une revue bibliographique sur la toxicité de ce produit: toxicocinétique et métabolisme, toxicité expérimentale et pour l'espèce humaine. On constate que l'aldéhyde formique est un puissant mutagène et qu'il est cancérogène pour le rat. On ne dispose, pour l'homme, que d'indices limités de sa mutagénicité et de sa cancérogénicité</abstract>
