Section: ArticlesTitle: Increase in numbers of CD8 positive lymphocytes and eosinophils in peripheral blood of subjects with late asthmatic reactions induced by toluene diisocyanate / Susetta Finotto... [et al.]Notes: Sumario: Exposure to isocyanates causes asthma in up to 5% of people. The mechanism of isocyanate induced asthma is unknown. Early, late, or dual asthmatic reactions can be induced by inhalation of low concentrations of isocyanates in the laboratory, and late asthmatic reactions and the associated increase of bronchial hyperreactivity are prevented by corticosteroids. This article compared T cell subpopulations and circulating leucocytes after experimental inhalation of either toluene diisocyanate or filtered air as a control in asmatics who were previously identified as dual or late respondersRelated records: En: British journal of industrial medicine. - London and Margate. - nº 2, February 1991 ; p. 116-121Materia / lugar / evento: Medicina laboralEpidemiologíaEnfermedades profesionalesVías respiratoriasAsma bronquialContaminantes químicosToluenoIsocianatosOtros autores: Finotto, Susetta Secondary titles: Título: British journal of industrial medicine Other categories: 873Rights: In Copyright (InC)
