Title: Factors influencing vibration sense thresholds used to assess occupational exposures to hand transmitted vibration / Noriaki Harada, Michael J. GriffinAuthor: Harada, Noriaki
Notes: Sumario: Hand-arm vibration syndrome is an occupational disease caused by longitudinal exposure to hand transmitted vibration. The effects of various conditions, including temporary threshold shifts (TTS) induced by exposure to vibration on vibration sense thresholds, have been investigated. This study is composed of five experiments to determinate: frequency dependence of vibration sense thresholds, effect of surround on thresholds, effect of contacts force on thresholds, effect of temperature of finger skin on thresholds and characteristics of TTS induced by a provocative exposure to vibrationRelated records: En: British journal of industrial medicine. - London and Margate. - nº 3, March 1991 ; p. 185-192Materia / lugar / evento: Medicina laboral Enfermedades profesionales Vibraciones Extremidades superiores Contaminantes físicos Valores TLV Higiene industrial Otros autores: Griffin, Michael J.
