Sumario: The present study is an extension of two earlier investigations on the environmental and biological monitoring of workers engaged in the manufacture of video and audio tapes. The objectives were:one, to see if it is possible to carry out biological monitoring of workers exposed to this solvent by measuring tetrahydrofuran (THF) concentrations in the alveolar air, blood, and urine and two, to evaluate these three common biological monitoring methods under field conditions
