Title: Inteaction of smoking, uptake of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and cytochrome P450IA2 activity among foundry workers / D. Sherson... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: An increased lung cancer risk has been described among foundry workers. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PHAs) and silica are possible aetiological factors. The study population consisted of 45 workers from an iron foundry located in rural Denmark. These data suggest that smoking as well as work related exposure to PHAs may be causally related to increased risk of lung cancer in foundry workersRelated records: En: British journal of industrial medicine. - London and Margate. - nº 3, March 1992 ; p. 197-202Materia / lugar / evento: Medicina laboral Enfermedades profesionales Epidemiología Sustancias químicas Fundición Hidrocarburo aromático policíclico Cáncer Enfermedades pulmonares Tabaquismo Dinamarca Otros autores: Sherson, D.
