<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The object of the present paper was to investigate to workers in a midwestern applicance plant where refrigerator doors and previously entire cabinets were insulated with fibreglass sheeting and loose rotary spun fibreglass, and to assess the pulmonary effects of exposure to fine fibreglass. This study concludes that the commercial rotary spun fibreglass used for insulating appliances appears to produce human disease that is similar to asbestosis</abstract>
