Notes: Sumario: Average concentrations of chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons in a factory atmosphere over a period of time may be estimated using a sampling device containing silica gel. The collected sample is analysed by desorption into methanol followed by gas chromatography. The sampling device may be used for both background and personal breathing zone atmospheres.
