Notes: Sumario: A description is given of the techniques and strategy employed in the routine monitoring of a major asbestos textile factory employing about 1500 persons where both background and personal sampling is carried out. In order to maintain a regular surveillance of the working efficiency of the many fixed ventilation systems in the factory a rapid monitoring system has been devised, based on a portable Royco particle counter.
