Title: A Study of pulmonary deposition, and the elimination of some constituent metals from welding fume in laboratory animals / H.F. Lam, P.J. Hewitt and R. HicksAuthor: Lam, H.F.
Notes: Sumario: The deposition of particulates from welding fumes produced by two different welding modes (manual arc using flux coated electrodes and automatic metal-inert gas using stainless steel wires) has been studied in the rat and guinea pig. The removal of certain metallic components of the fume deposit occurred at different rates, dependent on the in vivo solubility of the specific metal, but common early phase elimination mechanisms were identified for all metals studiedRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4, 1978 ; p. 363-373Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Humos tóxicos Gases inertes Soldadura Toxicidad Metales Experimentos Otros autores: Hewitt, Peter J.
