Sumario: Measurements at actual work sites indicate that the developed method is suitable for determining a wide range of mercury concentrations and seems particularly adaptable for measuring the mercury contents of the atmospheric work environment and the breathing zone of workers. This method simplifies and speeds up the measurement of mercury vapour in air and enables the analysis of minute amounts of mercury (pg/m3) in relatively short sampling times
