Sumario: This report describes the clinical and physiological aspects of a small pilot study undertaken to gauge the feasibility of some of the proposed examination techniques and to provide information on the acute effects of polluants on pulmonary function over shift when men used manual electric arc welding in a standardized typical task. Comparison is made with a control group of electrical fitters
