The TLV work-rest regimens for occupational exposure to heat : a review of their development

A rational derivation is given for wet bulb globe thermometer limits for different work-rest regimens that are in close agreement with the ACGIH TLV recommendations. The significance of these limits is discussed. A simpler version of the heat stress index is presented and the advantages of the two methods are compared</dc:description>
