Title: Industrial hygiene measurements for organic polluants (acrylonitrile) using passive dosimeters and automated thermal desorption / G.B. Benson, G.E. Boyce and D.M. HaileAuthor: Benson, G.B.
Notes: Sumario: The laboratory and plant evaluation of a thermally passive dosimeter is described. Acrylonitrile was used as analyte in the evaluation and the gas chromatographic analysis was performed using a nitrogen-specific detector. Good agreement with the standard pump-and-tube method was obtained in plant, suggesting the suitability of the dosimeter for making routine industrial hygiene measurements for acrylonitrile. A prototype automatic thermal desorption system has been constructed and shown to produce repeatable quantitative results with considerable savings in analytical timeRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4, 1981 ; p. 367-373Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Contaminantes orgánicos Dosimetría Control de contaminantes Acrilonitrilo Dosímetros Métodos de análisis Otros autores: Boyce, G.E.
