Notes: Sumario: Conditions favourable to the growth of microorganisms are sometimes found in mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Where such microorganisms are potentially pathogenic or allergenic, human respiratory ailments such as Legionnaires' disease and humidifier fever can result.
