Sumario: The thermal environment was measured in 42 garages and the results compared with acceptance data obtained by questioning mechanics. Four current climatic standards were selected and evaluated with regard to sensitivity and specificity. Fanger's Predicted Mean Vote-index is recommended to evaluate thermal comfort in garages
