Title: Estimates of past exposure to respirable man-made fibres in the European insulation wool industry / J. Dogson, J. Cherric and S. CroatAuthor: Dogson, J.
Notes: Sumario: This paper describes a procedure for estimating past exposure levels at cach of the insulation wool factories included in the epidemiological study. This is based on the finding of the HEI (historical environmental investigation), revised estimates of current airborne fibre levels and experimental assessments of the dustiness of old and new insulation products. These dust emission measurements arc presented in this paper. A model of historical exposure levels at each insulation wool factory is derived to permit semi-quantitive estimates of past exposure for use in further epidemiological studiesRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4B, 1987 ; p. 567-582Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Fibras minerales artificiales Man-made mineral fibres Lana mineral Aislamiento térmico Contaminantes químicos Valores TLV Polvo Control de la contaminación Ventilación Europa Otros autores: Cherric, J.
