Title: Respiratory cancer incidence in Swedish construction workers exposed to man-made mineral fibres and asbestos / C. Engholm... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: The present report contains results of a follow-up extended through 1982 of respiratory cancer incidence in that same cohort of Swedish construction workers. The respiratory cancer incidence in a large cohort has been studied in order to determine whether exposure to MMMF has had an effect on the respiratory cancer incidence among users of such materials. The results appear compatible with the known effect of asbestos exposure on lung cancer incidence. Subjets classified as heavily exposed to MMMF do not have a significantly higher incidence than unexposed subjectsRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4B, 1987 ; p. 663-675Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Fibras minerales artificiales Man-made mineral fibres Amianto Cáncer Epidemiología Mortalidad Enfermedades profesionales Medicina laboral Vías respiratorias Enfermedades pulmonares Suecia Otros autores: Engholm, C.
