Title: Activated carbon filters in air cleaning processes. II : prediction of breakthrough times and capacities from laboratory studies of model filters / E. Balieu and E. BjarnovAuthor: Balieu, E.
Notes: Sumario: A method based on studies of model filters is suggested for prediction of breakthrough times and capacities of activated carbon filters in local exhaust ventilation units. The method involves the determination of three penetration curve parameters from testing of the model filters. The results indicate that the filter under investigation will have a relatively short breakthrough time under normal working conditions and it is recommended that the amount of activated carbon should be substantially increasedRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 1, February 1990 ; p. 1-11Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminación atmosférica Sistemas de limpieza del aire Carbón activado Filtros Ventilación Sistemas de ventilación Otros autores: Bjarnov, E.
