Title: Effects of whole-body vertical shock-type vibration on human ability for fine manual control / Hiroyuki Nakamura and Michael HaverkampAuthor: Nakamura, Hiroyuki
Notes: Sumario: The effects of vertical (z-axis) whole-body shock-type vibration on the ability for fine manual control were examined. The examination of the shock's effects was carried out using an experimental system that simulated the actual workplace of earth-moving machinery. The results suggested that shocks with peak amplitudes below defined value induce no evident effect on the steering of vehiclesRelated records: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 34, nº 11, November 1991 ; p. 1365-1376Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Biomecánica Columna vertebral Contracciones musculares Postura Vibraciones Manipulación Maquinaria Movimientos de tierra Métodos experimentales Análisis estadístico Otros autores: Haverkamp, Michael
