Title: Physiological and spinal responses to circuit weight-training / G. Garbutt... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: This study reverted to a more typical regimen employed for purposes of aerobic training. Spinal responses to circuit weight-training using a combination of free-weights, weight-training machines and unresisted truncal exercises have not previously been investigated. Two studies were designed to: assess the intensity of exercise during a typical circuit weight-training regimen by examining the physiological and perceptual responses to performances of three consecutive circuits, and determine how these responses varied between circuits; study the physical responses to circuit weight-training, using spinal shrinkage as an index of spinal loading, and relate the physical to the physiological and perceptual responsesRelated records: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 37, nº 1, January 1994 ; p. 117-125Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Fisiología Deportes Aerobic Columna vertebral Ejercicio físico Sistema cardiovascular Otros autores: Garbutt, G.
