Notes: Sumario: In this paper, we report the findings of an epidemiological and clinical study on musculoskeletal injuries occurring in the neck and upper limbs of vibration exposed forestry workers using chain saws. The prevalence rates of cumulative trauma disorders (CTDs) among the forestry workers were compared with those observed in a control group of men performing manual activities. The relationship between vibration exposure and musculoskeletal impairment was also assessed. A further aim of this investigation was to perform a quantitative evaluation of the upper limb function of both the vibration-exposed forestry workers and the controlsRelated records: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 34, nº 5, May 1991 ; p. 547-562Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Máquinas y herramientas Vibraciones Enfermedades profesionales Lesiones musculares Extremidades superiores Medicina laboral Explotación forestal Otros autores: Bovenzi, Massimo
