Title: Physiological and subjective responses to working in disposable protective coveralls and respirators commonly used by the asbestos abatement industry / Mary Kay White, Thomas K. Hodous and Judith B. HudnallAuthor: White, Mary Kay
Notes: Sumario: The purpose of this study was to investigate workers' responses to exercise in the heat while wearing lightweight, disposable coveralls in combination with four different levels of respiratory protection. The results suggest that heavier, more protective respirators may be associated with only minimal additional physiological and subjective stress in selected low work load asbestos abatement industry work settingsRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 50, nº 6, June 1989 ; p. 313-319Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Amianto Equipos respiratorios Equipos de protección individual Fisiología Otros autores: Hodous, Thomas K.
