Title: Back pain and exposure to whole body vibration in helicopter pilots / P.M. Bongers... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: In a questionnaire survey the prevalence of back pain in 163 helicopter pilots was compared to that in a control group of 297 non-flying air force officers who underwent the same pre-employment medical examination. In addition, vibration levels of the helicopters were measured and an accumulative vibration dose was calculated for each pilot. The observed health effects may be due to vibration or constrained posture but are most likely due to concomitant exposure to both factorsRelated records: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 33, nº 8, August 1990 ; p. 1007-1026Materia / lugar / evento: Ergonomía Columna vertebral Dolor Vibraciones Postura Medicina laboral Helicópteros Otros autores: Bongers, P.M.
