<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En la actualidad, la industria del sector del automóvil asume plenamente su creciente responsabilidad respecto a la protección del medio ambiente, y tanto en lo referente a sus vehículos como al modo de producción de éstos. Una de las tareas más importantes con las que se enfrentan los fabricantes de automóviles del futuro es la problemática que supone el compaginar la necesidad de transporte con la protección del medio ambiente. Es necesario que todos los procesos vayan acompañados de análisis de impacto ambiental. El autor considera que hay que seguir dos estrategias: optimización de la tecnología de los vehículos con motores convencionales y alternativos y una extensa "gestión del tráfico" (servicios de transporte)</abstract>
