Sumario: A model biomechanical human model is presented which allows the quantification of mechanical parameters such as torque, compressive and shear forces, and pressure at the lumbar intervertebral dics. The model in this paper allows the simulation of spatial body movements and the quantification of the resultant time courses for the lumbar stress
