Title: Acute effect upon pulmonary of low level exposure to phenol-formaldehyde-resin-coated wood / Harold R. Imbus and Steven J. TochilinAuthor: Imbus, Harold R.
Notes: Sumario: In order to determine whether phenol-formaldehyde-resin-coated woos particles would cause an acute decline in pulmonary function, 176 workers in 2 oriented strandboard production plants were given respiratory questionnaires and pulmonary function tests before and during their work shifts. Measurements of dust and adsorbed formaldehyde were made on the same day as the pulmonary function tests. measured formaldehyde levels were low, and measured dusts levels were low to moderate. There was no evidence of an acute effect upon pulmonary functionRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 49, nº 9, September 1988 ; p. 434-437Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Formaldehido Resinas Partículas ambientales Maderas Enfermedades profesionales Vías respiratorias Ventilación pulmonar Tests Otros autores: Tochilin, Steven J.
