Title: Noninvasive, quantitative respirator fit testing through dynamic pressure measurement / David R. Carpenter and Klaus WillekeAuthor: Carpenter, David R.
Notes: Sumario: A new method has been invented for the noninvasive and quantitative determination of fit for a respirator. The test takes a few seconds and requires less expensive instrumentation than presently used for invasive testing. In this test, the breath is held at a negative pressure for a few seconds, and the leak-induced pressure decay inside the respirator cavity is monitoredRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 49, nº 10, October 1988 ; p. 485-491Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Aerosoles Equipos respiratorios Máscaras Tests Métodos de análisis Otros autores: Willeke, Klaus
